This is where Allen and Shanahan will have to do their best work, in rounds 4-7 today. The Redskins have three picks as of now but they still are trying to get Jason Campbell a new team. Will they be able to pull it off? Come by and talk about it.

Look for draft day deal for Campbell
The news that Jason Campbell will soon sign his $3.1 tender isn’t exactly earth shattering. Under normal circumstances it would mean that he will forego attempting to negotiate an offer sheet with another team, something a restricted free agent is entitled to do up until April 15.
The Redskins, however, have given Campbell permission to talk [...]
Tandler’s Talking Points on the McNabb trade
Alphonso Smith, cornerback, Wake Forest; Curtis Lofton, linebacker, Oklahoma; Eric Weddle, safety, Utah; Jimmy Williams, cornerback, Virginia Tech; Shaun Cody, defensive tackle, USC; Teddy Lehman, linebacker, Oklahoma. Is the ‘for sale’ sign up on No. 17?
Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Washington Redskins have assigned a first-round tender offer to quarterback Jason Campbell. If he plays under the offer, he will earn about $3.1 million in 2010.

Campbell gets RFA tender
News: Mike Shanahan says that the Redskins will make a tender offer to quarterback Jason Campbell.

Campbell looks for stability
Here are both parts of my interview with Jason Campbell. I’ll leave it to you to pick out the key parts, but I did find what he said about a potential training camp challenge in Part 2 particularly interesting.
Campbell, Part 1: In search of stability
Campbell, Part 2: A matter is discipline
The other option for the Redskins at QB
Last Friday, Jim Haslett was on the air on a St. Louis radio station for an hour. While he didn’t break any new ground when it comes to the Redskins defense—as one might expect, he spent most of the time talking about his time with the Rams as defensive coordinator and interim head coach—he did [...]
Don’t tell the Redskins it’s a meaningless game.
I went around and asked some Redskins if they thought that the upcoming game against the Chargers was meaningless. The answer, as one would expect, was a resounding no.
CSN: Don’t tell the Redskins it’s a meaningless game.
Campbell: Situation ‘not fair’
I’m not sure if Jason Campbell is on his way out of town but he’s talking like he is. He has said all the “right things” for the most part but when CSN’s Kelli Johnson asked him about the pounding he is taking he did speak his mind about the situation:
