Comments Off on Better than the Dallas win?

This was a better win than the one over Dallas. Don’t get me wrong, the game last week was sweet. It was a big statement game and the Redskins came out and got it done in a place where they historically have had trouble. It didn’t seem, however, that the Cowboys were particularly fired up…

It’s a road game so that means that the live game blog goes interactive here on RealRedskins.com for the Washington Redskins at the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. I’ve been doing some uncharacteristic trash talking this week so I’m pretty pumped up for this one and the live blog should be a lot of fun. Kickoff…

Comments Off on Flashback Friday: Gibbs vs. Buddy, Sonny vs. Norm

Gibbs vs. Buddy While Joe Gibbs vs. Buddy Ryan, the Eagles’ coach from 1986 through 1990, never had quite the zip to it as Parcells or Landry facing off against Gibbs, it was an interesting if short-lived rivalry nonetheless. While he rarely talked about it, Gibbs was not a fan of Ryan’s style. Buddy’s modus…

Last Sunday, the Washington Redskins faced the task of going into the house of one of the NFL’s elite teams and they came out with a victory. 17. Zorn and Allen leading the cheers

Comments Off on Zorn and Allen leading the cheers

Someone on You Tube cobbled together the three cheers “Hip-Hip Hoory!” that Jim Zorn led after the Redskins’ win over Dallas with one that George Allen did. We don’t know if this follows a win over the Cowboys or not, but it doesn’t really matter. Considering that, by all accounts, Zorn had no idea that…

Just when I thought it was safe to give Terrell Owens a pat on the back, he puts a knife in the back of his team. I received some heat last week after I proclaimed that TO had grown up some and that the chances of him causing a disruption on the Cowboys were very…
