I’ll be joining my friend Chris Russell this morning at 9:40 talk Redskins. Tune in to 106.7 on your FM dial or on the web.

Danny’s season in review

The graphic at the end of this pretty well sums up how most of us feel about the ‘09 season. Danny Rouhier nails it pretty well here.

Change you can believe in at Redskins Park?

On the surface, things sure look different at Redskins Park.
Bruce Allen holds the title General Manager, a title that hasn’t been doled out in the organization since Charley Casserly was fired soon after Dan Snyder bought the team in 1999. No matter what the title, he is an upgrade over Vinny Cerrato. Mike Shanahan is [...]

The beginning of the end of the negotiations

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Mike Shanahan’s agent is headed to meet with Bruce Allen. This indicates that the organizational issues regarding the power structure have been settled and it’s time to talk money. One would imagine that they already have discussed at least a framework of a contract so things could move fairly [...]

Redskins-Chargers live chat on now!

Well, here goes with my first attempt at a “blind” live chat. They aren’t showing the game here in Richmond so I’ll be following along via ESPN980.com, the NFL Red Zone channel (one of mankind’s great innovations, by the way), and NFL.com. And, of course, I’ll be relying on those of you who are chatting [...]

Haynesworth, Thomas inactive

Here are the Redskins’ inactives for today:
QB3 Bartell
WR Thomas
RB P.J. Hill
S Landry
CB McCauley
LB Bowen
LB Gatewood
DT Haynesworth
Thomas (ankle) and Landry (concussion) didn’t make the trip but no surprise there. Haynesworth was questionable with a hip injury that sprang up at some point in the last week.

CSN: Don’t tell the Redskins it’s a meaningless game.

Who hates Cowboys fans?

Comedian Danny Rouhier does, that’s for sure!

Campbell: Situation ‘not fair’

I’m not sure if Jason Campbell is on his way out of town but he’s talking like he is. He has said all the “right things” for the most part but when CSN’s Kelli Johnson asked him about the pounding he is taking he did speak his mind about the situation:

CSN: It’s the same old story

We’ve seen this movie before.
