4-2 after six games! You could have fooled me with that prediction after starting 0-2! Though those Wins haven’t been pretty, it still feels pretty good to be 4-2. Hope we can keep this train rolling!

The Skins were outstanding across the board. Excellent, well-executed game plan.

I’ll give it a B+. A solid win in which they never trailed. At the same time it never needed to be as close as it was. Three plays: the KO return, the pick six, and the 54-yard pass to Matthews on 3rd and 14 at the beginning of the 4th Qtr. Still working on the killer instinct that would move the Redskins up from a good team to legit contender. As much as some folks want to minimize these wins, the Giants, Ravens, and Eagles are solid teams with playoff aspirations. None of these teams are likely to pick in the top ten next year.

    B- overall

Had some big time throws from Kirk. Some big time drops. I’m still not sure about our defense. I mean last week we enjoyed the fortune of the Ravens abandoning the run game. This week we enjoyed the absence of Lane Johnson. So I’d really like to see a true glimpse of the defense. What would really help our defense, especially our run defense, is if we looked like a top offense and force other teams to be one dimensional by putting up a lot of points. Peyton hardly had a top defense but they were scoring 30+ points a game. That’s why I had to take some points away from the overall grade,e we shouldn’t still be holding our breath at the end of the game we should’ve been up multiple scores not just one. The offense has to do it’s part, can’t keep putting our defense in these spots though I am impressed with how they’ve responded.

I was about to have an aneurysm when the Ugglies tied it thanks to two bonehead plays after the Skins had been so dominant.

I’ve seen other Skins teams over the years fold up their tents and go home after ttat kind of isht, but this one does not do that.

And I promised Skulb that I’m being positive all week this week.

We made the plays when we had to. It’s hard for me to get down on special teams for allowing the return because they have been awesome all year and the flag on Davis was bogus and put them in a bad position. The Cousins pick was bad but other than that he had a pretty good day. This team could’ve easily folded when things started to go against them, but they continued to fight. That’s the thing to be most optimistic about. The defense got plenty of rest and played well when they were on the field. We got a lot more pressure than I thought we would. Safety play has improved dramatically the last few weeks. The defense continues to make plays when it needs to. If we continue to develop, I can see us making some noise this year.

B almost B + . Pick 6 and Special teams Touchdown keep it from an A – .. 4 -2 at this point is where I was hoping they would be but how they got there is the bright spot .
The 2nd half of the year is still going to be hard so at least 5-3 would help. Still think 8 – 8 a real possibility but leaning upwards at this point.

    Tough crowd. All-in-all an A-

Offense: A- (run / pass balance terrific; penultimate drive could have been better and eliminate INT)
Defense: A (could have done better in drive that led to field cut that cut Redskins lead to 27-20)
Special Teams: B- (Eagles are strong on special teams; only poor showing was KR for TD)

A all the way. God I hate the Egirls. Love the grit and tenacity of this team right now. They were bringing it. HTTR
