A lot of Redskins are getting their walking papers today. We’ve got it all covered at

What are your thoughts about Scott asking Will Blakmon to come back?? And what other names do you expect to be added to this list that could be unexpected?

  2. Mr.moneylover - Mar 7, 2016 at 2:19 PM

Was just told perry Riley is sticking around for now…how long ??? Is still unknown…redskins been working hard to resign mason foster and there is mutual interest in bringing back will blackmon

So I don’t think any of these are a surprise. and i don’t think we are done. I believe Roberts is gone that’s 3 mil more and the Riley thing I’m not sure how it’s going to play out. I’d see if we could lower his price of possible before cutting him. I think we played well for most part when paired with Compton. I see long is coming in and I don’t see us signing him. For one he is going to be 31 and two possibly want to much. If we are going to sign any fa I wouldn’t mind the nt from San Fran. I also hearing reports about garçon and extension, I would be ok with that bc I think he has some good years left and doesn’t rely on just speed like Jackson. The room being cleared makes me think reed will be taken care this off season and that we may get a couple fa pieces for that d. Any who, knew it was going to happen and understand it but still sad to see griffin go. Me and the millions wanted him to be the man but didn’t work out for us or him.

Reed, Cousins, we’re going to have to figure something out with Deshawn and Garcon as well. Kerrigan already got taken care of I believe, so at least we have him and TWill for awhile.

Garcon on ESPN980 yesterday says he has not heard anything but also is not taking a pay cut. He understandsits a business and is OK with moving on if necessary. Its just a job and a possible bump in the road of life.

It’s good we get younger players coming in. The draft of 2016 will be good. I think Blackmon and Perry Riley should be the next ones to leave. Good luck redskins management.

Didn’t know they were going to straight drop Goldson, but it’s not hard to see the reason.

I’ll miss Darrel Young most, he just didn’t fit Gruden’s playcalling.

    • Mr.moneylover - Mar 7, 2016 at 5:58 PM

I’m not surprise because when jay gruden was with the Bengals they never use a fullback…now redskins can add a player from another position like WR or DL

I hate to see Young and Goldson go. They did not use Young enough plain and simply. And I thought Goldson was decent, nothing spectacular and I can see why they cut him, but he was cool.
Oh well. . Good luck to all these ex skins players and Rg3 you can go pluck yourself.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m so glad to see this happening. We got a great GM that holds players accountable and let players go if they don’t get it done. This team is FINALLY heading in the right direction.

Rich: What is the rule on cutting players with a injury that are still under contract and have a Caps Savings (i.e. Lauvao, Roberts, Hayward, Riley, Culliver) ? I see about $11 million more in Cap savings on the above list. Archives
