It may not be such a safe bet to keep Chris Cooley on your fantasy team in hopes of having him playing by December.
Cooley said today that he is “hopeful” of being able to return in four weeks but that it is far from certain.”
“I do have a one-inch break and three pins in my foot and I’m not getting around so well,” he said.
He will see a doctor on Monday and at that point he will have a better idea as to whether or not he will be able to go this year.
Cooley said that the team’s record won’t have any effect on whether he plays again this year or not.
“If my ankle feels good, I’ll play,” he said.
