The Skins have never gone 1-15. They went 1-9-2 in 1960 and 1-12-1 the next year, their only one-win seasons.

Their fewest wins in a 16-game season (started in 1978) was three in Norv's first year in 1994.

As I've said before, the Skins are the kings of mediocre. Rarely are they horrid and rarely are they elite.

As horrible as this team is and as bleek as this situation looks, its hard to believe we are not going for the worst record in team history. We actually went 1-15 once.

When Jason Campbell was asked about Zorn's decision to put Todd Collins in the game, he replied "I'm just going to take it stride". This seals the deal for me with Jason Campbell. While we certainly have issues outside the QB position, this is not a hungry response and JC is already evaluating what team he might end up on next year.

Remember, Zorn can't be fired because of the three positions he currently holds? Well, each of those positions are casually being replaced. The only positive thing I can think about during this season is that it will end.

Regarding Zorn, at least he didn't go on TV and talk about how he was going to "bench himself." Worst moment in post-game post-mortem ever.

Regarding Synder, I think you're mis-remembering. Snyder was part of a group to buy the Redskins lead by a guy named Milner (I think). The other owners didn't like his proposal so Snyder put together his own group. He borrowed a lot of money to buy the team -- this was the only reservation voiced by the other owners.

Typical Redskins. An organization with more class would make the decision fully before announcing the change, not castrate the head coach by giving the press a day to chew on how much he sucks. Why isn't anyone reporting on how other NFL owners were originally against Snyder buying the team. What did they know about him that we (the fans) are only now coming to terms with?
