Update: –The CoveritLive software isn’t working. Actually, there isn’t enough bandwidth for it to work here at FedEx. I’m going to have to do this the old-fashioned way and update quarter by quarter or more frequently as events dictate. I’ll try to get this worked out for next week but, hey, it’s the preseason for all of us.

–You’ll still be able to send me your questions via email at rich.tandler+jags@gmail.com

The fifth and (thankfully) final preseason game live blog will be coming from the press box at FedEx Field.

We should get a quick peek at the offensive starters and the rest of the game will be the last chance for many in the Burgundy and Gold to either make the team or make a good enough impression on film that another team might want to give them a shot.

The blog will get started at about 6:00 with kickoff coming at 7:00.

During the course of the game and for about five minutes after it ends, you’ll have a chance to send me your questions for Jim Zorn and any Redskins players (generally assistant coaches are not available after the game). Follow the guidelines I posted the other day and send your questions to:

rich.tandler+jags@gmail.com

I’ll do my best to hunt down the player and get your question answered. I’ll post some of them that night and the rest in an article on Friday.

Your comments are most welcome, but please be advised that this is a blog and not a chat. Relevant comments and questions that help deliver the narrative of the game will be posted; not all of them will be.

Update: I’m out here at FedEx right now and the Internet connection is decent most of the time, but it does have its slow moments. If comments sometimes appear to be a few minutes behind, that’s the reason why. In short, it’s likely that there will be a glitch from time to time, but it seems to be going well enough to proceed.
